This section contains information intended to be discovered by the player during gameplay.
Prototypes are special Augments, acquired from rare side-areas called "Very Safe Labs". These Augs offer significant benefits in exchange for significant drawbacks. Greater benefits are granted when playing as a Revenant. The drawbacks can be removed if the player acquires System Restore
Unlike regular Augs, Prototypes do not need to be unlocked.
