Prototypes are special [[Augments]], acquired from rare side-areas called "Very Safe Labs". These Augs offer significant benefits in exchange for significant drawbacks. Greater benefits are granted when playing as a [[Characters|Revenant]]. The drawbacks can be removed if the player acquires [[System Restore]]


Unlike regular Augs, Prototypes do not need to be unlocked.
