Thorned Hull is an augment. When obtained, it adds a bonus 1 attack strength to the player for every 4 health the player currently has. This bonus is handled seperately to the player's regular attack strength stat, although it's shown together on the pause screen.
It can be found as a drop from Gold Chests. It can also be found in Shops with a price of 20 Nuts.
Synergies[ | ]
- Thorned Hull synergises well with any augment which increases maximum health, as it increases the potential strength gain.
- Augments which modify attack strength do not take the bonus from Thorned Hull into account. This is especially notable with augments like Earthmetal Plating.
- With only four stacks of Thorned Hull, reduction in attack strength from Earthmetal Plating can be completely negated. With more than four stacks, your attack strength even increases from picking up Earthmetal Plating.
